Your story is valid. Your story is personal. Your story deserves to be heard.

You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.

Amy Bradley, LICSW

Welcome to Holding Space

Therapy is not about fixing you—it’s about creating the space to understand what you’re carrying, and deciding what to do with it.

I believe in sitting with people in the hard moments—the grief, the anxiety, the uncertainty—and helping them build a path forward that feels grounded, intentional, and their own.

What Does “Holding Space” Mean?

Holding space is the practice of being fully present with someone—without judgment, without interruption, and without the need to rush the process.

It means:

  • Listening without trying to fix

  • Allowing emotions without minimizing them

  • Creating a steady, supportive environment where you can actually be honest

In a world that pushes quick solutions and surface-level answers, holding space is about slowing things down long enough for real clarity and change to happen.

How This Shows Up in Therapy

At Holding Space Therapy Services, the work is collaborative and grounded in real life.

You won’t be told who to be or what decisions to make. Instead, we work together to:

  • Understand what’s keeping you stuck

  • Build tools to handle difficult thoughts and emotions

  • Clarify what actually matters to you

  • Take steps toward a life that feels more aligned and sustainable

This is your process. My role is to help you navigate it with clarity, honesty, and support.

Getting Started

Reaching out for help is the first step.

Finding someone who can sit with you in the hard moments—and not rush you through them—is the next.
