My name is Amy Bradley and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I have been in this field since 2006 when I got my start working in the school systems and with moms and babies. After receiving my Masters in Social Work from Florida State University in 2010, I started my journey into the world of hospice. I fell in love with the comradery and joy that I found with my fellow coworkers but most importantly, with my patients and their families.
During my hospice career, I discovered the need to learn more about Dementia; professionally and personally. Professionally, most of my patients either had Dementia or their family member did. It was about finding resources, learning how to help and become an advocate for these special people. Personally, my dad was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia in 2015, shortly before he died. Shortly after Dad died, my mother started showing signs of Dementia. Mom was diagnosed with Fronto-Temporal Dementia in 2017 and died in 2019.
Dementia and Hospice are my passion, but I have developed different skill sets in the years since hospice. I have traveled as a Discharge Planner working in Level 1 Trauma Centers, Emergency Rooms as a Mental Health Assessor and everything in between. Social Work encompasses all of parts of the life cycle.
My experience has allowed for a diverse background of traditions and practices that clients can implement in their personal journey. I value transparency in the therapist/client relationship. I utilize multiple modalities and focus on building rapport with every client. Success is seeing someone accomplish their goals.
I provide therapy services for those looking for assistance with Anxiety, Depression, Life Transitions, End of Life Issues, Grief, to name a few. My practice is built to meet each client where they are and work in tandem to create a plan that allows each person to achieve their goals.
I look forward to working with you.
